this might look just like an ordinary awesome picture where I stand, mesmerized by fantastic CD's, but I just realized that it's so much more than that to this picture. now I understand that we missed it when we were there, but I saw something, here and now, that was so obvious, and it makes me a little proud over my own countrymen. will you please look down in the right corner of the picture.

in two weeks, jonatan and I will show the cool japanese above around in our hometown, let him see a different part of sweden, maybe the 'real deal'? from what jonatan has told me about their conversation, it seems like he's really excited about it, and next week we're going to plan most of what will go down. a few days in skellefteå/skelleftehamn, and a few days in stockholm before he goes back to japan. I look forward to this week. it feels great to meet Daisuke again. it's almost a little surreal that we met over a year ago in Beijing, and now he's coming all the way from asia, just to explore a new country and see a different culture. it's almost a priviliege to show him our ordinary life. people may not appreciate growing up in such a small town, but it most certainly is beautiful when you look a little bit closer.

okay, I just bought this. let's see where it takes me. and if I finally get my hands on a stand, nothing will stop me. nah I'm just kidding. but I have this dream of being a good photographer. maybe someday. maybe it'll come along with the singing too. right now I'm just on a dead path. people say 'you should do something about it'. it's easier said than done. right now I long for asia. scandinavia is not my place to be. I am currently looking at language courses in Seoul. Yonsei Korean Language Institute is the one that calls the most. I felt the moment I stepped foot at Incheon airport; this is where I want to be.

but let's take it slow, one step at a time. let's start with going to eddahallen first, 60 lenghts, and then I will have made up for not doing anything today. and while I'm at it, writing in english, good or bad?

reunions, överallt. det är fantastiskt. karolina, caroline och jag satte oss ner vid älven och bara återtog tid som vi förlorat. det är spännande hur annorlunda livet ser ut nu, när det var så annorlunda för två år sen, så vi just hade tagit studenten och skulle påbörja vårat självständiga liv. nu har vi alla något på gång, allt kanske inte är planerat, och vem behöver inte pushar och uppmuntrande ord om att 'det kanske ändå inte är omöjligt'. vi växer upp och finner oss själva.

sofia started her own blog; molihua, and I got inspired from her writing what she's feeling and doing in english, I feel like I want to follow in her footsteps. this blog is linked to my facebook, and lately I have gotten a lot more international friends, due to my traveling in asia, and since english is such an international language, hey, you do the math. so, if anyone who I have met during these months is interested in what I'm doing during these days, you will sometimes have the option in this blog. I must say that I have it easier expressing myself I my own language, but english can sometimes be liberating, when I do not find the words for it in swedish. and even though I do write in swedish, you can always translate it in the sidebar, where it says 'välj språk' (choose language), and choose 'engelska' (english), and there you will have a rough translation of what I wrote.

I have to finish this, and get ready for the night. there is a festival in town, and that means cozy get-together's with friends before, and the weather is perfect, so I do really think that this night will be special.
